Htob EC Seal End Cover Seals are used to seal service holes.
For example, they are often used in gear boxes where the shaft does not penetrate the housing wall. End caps are commonly used as end seals for shaft passages in motor gearboxes and other gear mechanisms.
EC end cap seal are designed for applications where the shaft does not pass through the housing wall of the bore. The end cover provides protection for the bearings. EC seals are designed to fit into housing bores for rotary shaft seals. They have the same tolerances as those for the O.D. of a seal.

The EC profile is a cover seal composed of a single external metal cage with a rubber coating.
